Dippity Donuts

About Dippity

A rainbow sign & a full case.

The bubble-letter sign out front has marked this corner of Del Obispo Street for years — a donut shop that’s also a full diner, five in the morning to early afternoon.

The idea

Donuts before sunrise, burgers by noon.

Dippity Donuts is a classic Dana Point donut shop and diner — cake and raised donuts, apple fritters, breakfast plates, burgers, and sandwiches, all made fresh at the Stonehill & Del Obispo corner since the early morning hours.

The case fills up before the doors even open — cake donuts, raised, old fashion, buttermilk bars, and apple fritters, all fried fresh each morning. By mid-morning the griddle’s going too, for the burger-and-breakfast crowd.
